RECYCLING TIPS!
The best tip of all is to try to avoid buying items with unnecessary packaging, which may be difficult to recycle. We have become over-reliant on plastic packaging etc. If you DO use polythene carrier and bread bags, these can be used again for all sorts of things and The Reclaimer will recycle them if you use them to separate your recycling.
PAPER RECYCLING TIME-SAVER
Instead of putting your paper and card into individual polythene bags, just put them loose at the bottom of your RECLAIMER sack. This makes paper and card recycling easier for you and helps us to save time.
COMPACTING YOUR CARDBOARD AND CARTONS
The more you compact your recycling down the more you can fit into your yellow bag. Here is a demonstration on how you can compact your cardboard and cartons.

Find a box like the black one in the picture, then squash the rest of your cardboard boxes so they are as flat as possible. Squeeze them all into the un-squashed box.
Rip open the top of your cartons and pull off the plastic spout thing. Flatten them and put them in with your cardboard.
You should now have 1 empty recycling bag, 1 box full of very squashed cardboard and 1 happy recycler!
